Complex programmes don't fail overnight. They drift — slowly, then suddenly. Governance structures weaken, delivery visibility fades, and by the time the board is asking hard questions, the damage is already deep. I've spent more than three decades helping organisations recognise that drift early, and correct it before it becomes a crisis.
Who I am
I am a Programme Governance and Delivery Transformation Consultant with over 30 years of enterprise IT leadership experience. I work with organisations across government, defence, telecommunications, and large-scale enterprise technology — sectors where the stakes are high, the programmes are complex, and the cost of getting it wrong is measured not just in rupees, but in institutional credibility.
Throughout my career I have led, governed, and recovered large-scale IT programmes spanning delivery transformation, PMO build, infrastructure modernisation, commercial control, COE establishment, and e-Governance implementation. The ₹2,500+ Cr portfolio I have governed has given me a sharp sense of what separates programmes that succeed from those that quietly unravel.
I hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and bring a structured, evidence-based approach to every engagement — but always grounded in the practical realities of how organisations actually operate, not how frameworks say they should.
What I do
My work focuses on three connected areas:
Programme recovery. When a programme is delayed, overrun, or losing board confidence, I help leadership diagnose what is actually wrong — not just the symptoms — and build a credible path back to stable delivery. This is often the most urgent kind of engagement, and the one where experience matters most.
PMO governance and delivery control. Many organisations have a PMO in name, but lack the structures that make one effective: clear escalation paths, meaningful milestone tracking, executive reporting that drives decisions rather than just documenting them. I help build or strengthen these structures so that delivery teams and leadership are genuinely aligned.
Executive advisory and commercial control. Large programmes carry significant commercial risk — through vendor relationships, contract structures, and portfolio-level cost governance. I support leadership teams with the oversight frameworks and intervention tools they need to stay in control.
How I work
Every engagement begins with understanding the specific situation — its history, its stakeholders, and what has already been tried. I don't arrive with a standard framework and apply it regardless of context. I arrive with questions, and I listen carefully before I advise.
My recommendations are practical and actionable. I am most useful to organisations that need someone who has genuinely been in the room when a programme was in trouble — who understands the pressure on delivery teams, the patience of boards, and the complexity of making governance improvements without disrupting an already fragile delivery cycle.
I work primarily in an advisory capacity — remote and on-site — and engage on a project, retainer, or diagnostic basis depending on what the situation calls for.
